It was reported earlier by Graphic Showbiz on a possible breakup between Big Brother Africa lovebirds Elikem and Pokello due to what is said of Elikem impregnating a Germany-based fashion designer, Theresa Onnen.

However, the couple have taken to twitter to rubbish the report as they believe the media will go to any extent to find stories. Check out their tweets below.

Elikem:

“Good morning my people. They have started again. Lets burn these Mother××××ers.”

“Pokello and I are still happily together. This sh*t is insane. What has polikem done to these people. I love my wife. Period.”

“I am not with Theresa Onnen. @ameyaw112: An End to Polikem? Theresa Onnen steals Elikem from Pokello http://wp.me/p1LKeB-gcW “

Pokello:

“Lol this media don’t stop??? wow guys”

“Is this where u met and got impregnated? When I was standing on the stage with u love? Bitch please! pic.twitter.com/YGyRbDgahM”

“Showbiz Ghana- Polikem is a mother fucken Brand. When we break up we will inform u, not the other way round! Good day!”

Elikem Is Pokello's Puppet; I Lied To Protect Him - Theresa Onnen

Elikem Kumordzi and Theresa Onnen.
In a twist of events, Theresa Onnen, the lady who was reported to be having an affair with Big Brother Africa star, Elikem Kumordzi, has confessed she lied about the affair to protect him.

According to the German-based designer, she was forced to deny the existence of a relationship with Elikem to save the Big Brother star's image.

Ghanaian newspaper, Graphic Showbiz, in its Monday edition reported that Elikem and his girl friend Pokello Nare had broken up and that the former Big Brother star  is now dating a 28-year-old fashion designer, Theresa Boateng (Onnen), who came from Germany a month ago to outdoor her clothing line in Accra.

The report said Elikem and Theresa had confirmed their month old relationship and Miss Boateng was even two weeks pregnant for Elikem.

Theresa denied being pregnant for Elikem in an interview with Myjoyonline.com stating she had a strictly business relationship with Elikem.

"I'm not pregnant," she said, adding that she met both Elikem and Pokello through a friend only a weeks ago when she came to Ghana to launch her clothing line.

"Right now he is a business partner first and a good friend," and "I'm not pregnant period," Theresa had refuted.

But comments she made in two separate interviews with the Graphic Showbiz reporter, Kofi Duah, contradict this view.

Polikem.
In an earlier interview with the Showbiz, Theresa said she loves Elikem because "of what he does... I am a fashion designer, he is a fashion designer. We have something in common. He is the male part of me, I am the female part of him."

The German-based designer said she does not care about Pokello although she has some amount of respect for her and that it is normal for the Zimbabwean to feel bitter about the turn of events.

Theresa, who said she has been married before, stressed that: "Elikem is young and I think it takes time to choose whatever he wants. I don't want to even get married yet, he's just too young. Pokello is the one who is forcing him to get married to her and I think it's wrong because you can't force someone to get married to you."

According to her, "the best thing is [for] her (Pokello) to back off, let him make the right decision. If she really loves him, she will do that because I do love him. Let him decide whatever he wants to do. if it's with me it's fine, if it's with Pokello I will give him my blessings."

But in a later interview a very distraught Theresa Onnen threatened to make life unbearable for Elikem.

"If he is going to make things difficult for you (Showbiz journalist), I will make things difficult for him," she said.

The designer revealed that, "I am going to call my lawyers... I will pull everything out... I went to the studio because of him to protect him because of this Odartey Lamptey or whatever issue... so far I have been keeping quiet to protect him," she said.

"I did everything he wanted me to do. We went on radio, I didn't deny you... If he is turning things around... I can do it worse," she warned.

Theresa accused Pokello of putting her private phone number on Twitter stating, "but because of the respect I have for Elikem, I just kept quiet."

According to Theresa, "right now I'm the person who is carrying the baby and I was the one who said 'no I am not with him'," so if she comes out to disclose details of the their affair, "it will spoil his career so it's on him to decide."

"Elikem is not Elikem, Elikem, he is ruled by his family - his brother, his mum," she alleged.

Bimp Is Loving Nigeria

$

Bimp, Beverly and Bassey were called the Triple B’s as housemates on Big Brother Africa - The Chase. Since they left the BBA: The Chase house, Ethiopian born Bimp has been seen alot in Nigeria where he says he is exploring creative and business opportunities while keeping an eye out for Nigerian women.

Excerpts:

You’ve been in Nigeria for a while now, what's up with that?

I love Nigeria man! This is my third time coming back. I love Nigeria, I love the nightlife, I love the entertainment industry which is completely new to me. I enjoy Nigeria, the people are friendly, the people care. There is so much hardship that the people go through and through that they’ve become really strong; everybody is a hustler and I really love the way people hustle everywhere. Nigeria is a wonderful place.

When did you decide to make Nigeria your place of abode, in fact you have two Nigerian phone numbers.

Yes I have two Nigeria phone lines because I have two phones and I felt stupid carrying them without a simcard. It’s not that I’ve moved into Nigeria totally…not yet, I’m still thinking about it. I can’t just move in, there has to be something that I’d be doing. I need to have something that I’m working on or I’m a part of. Once I’m doing that then I can move in but right now I’m trying to see what opportunities are available to me in Nigeria and of course if those opportunities present themselves, why not be here? Except for the heat; it’s killing me but still, I love Nigeria.

What opportunities have you spotted so far?

I’ve always been a businessman to begin with, so I’ve seen that Nigeria is a huge market for business and I’m planning on expanding my business/my company from Ethiopia to Nigeria. The second thing is going to be on entertainment. I’m going to be working on my acting and I’m going to try to do music. I’m going to be doing radio. I’d do TV shows. I’m going to be doing radio actually because I’ve heard that my voice is good for radio and my face is not good for TV. I’m just playing. But I really want to do both TV and radio and hopefully it will work out for me.

So what do you have planned for 2014?

To be a better Bimp, make a better Bimp financially, knowledge-wise, wisdom in every way possible. I never had new year resolutions to be honest because it’s just putting pressure on me but this year I want to be better. I want to get closer to my dreams of becoming a billionaire. I want to work hard. I want to develop myself. I want to be a better person for 2015.

And Beverly?

Beverly has always been a sister of mine. I think one thing people don’t see or look over is the fact that when you’re in a house for three months, 24/7, you get closer to the people. Think about it, how many hours do you spend with your friend per week? Me and Beverly were together 24/7 for three months. It’s not an easy amount of time. It gets you closer than anything because you sleep, eat and wake up together. That creates a bond. Like I always said, Beverly is like my little sister and we’ve always had an awesome time. She’s also a caring and loving person. That’s the definition of our relationship: I know a lot of people get it wrong but think about it, how can you not expect us to be this close?

Bassey told us the same thing when he was in Nigeria

Yes we are called the triple B’s. That’s an awesome name actually. Would you believe it, me and Bassey were supposedly enemies and now we are the best of friends? This world is funny. You never know what it has in store.

What do you like about Nigerian ladies?

I think Nigerian women are very beautiful and caring. It’s so funny to me that even as friends and getting to know me they still ask if I have eaten; that is so nice. It’s the sweetest thing I ever heard. They are very fine. I’ve always said that I’m into curvy women and I think Nigerian women generally have that kind of body which is nice. I admire it.

Elikem Kumordzi, Ghana's representative at the 2013 edition of the Big Brother Africa reality TV show has told News-One that he is ready to tie the knot with his celebrity sweetheart Pokello Nare.

Amidst the ongoing tussle about who really owns the heart of the young fashion designer, Elikem seems to have chosen Pokello over Theresa Onnen - a Germany based fashion designer.

In an exclusive interview,  Elikem the Tailor told News-One that "if we are not already married then yes you will hear wedding bells soon."

There have been several news reports going back and forth over an alleged relationship between Elikem Kumordzi and Theresa with some speculating that she was pregnant for him. Some of the reports further suggested that the romantic relationship which erupted from the BBA reality show between Pokello and Elikem had ended.

But Elikem noted that, "It is just lies, I'm still with Pokello. We are still very strong and going. Theresa Onnen is a good friend of ours and a business partner."

"We do know Theresa but I'm not in a relationship with her and she is not pregnant for me. I don't know where all these things are coming from and I don't know why people will try and tarnish my image through something like that. Pokello is in Zimbabwe at the moment. She left about a week ago and I'm also going there in a couple of days," he added.

Meanwhile, Theresa, after publicly denying the pregnancy and relationship with Elikem, has, in another interview, threatened to make things difficult for Elikem.

"I will make things difficult for him. I am going to call my lawyers… I will pull everything out… I went to the studio because of him to protect him because of this Odartey Lamptey or whatever issue… so far I have been keeping quiet to protect him. I did everything he wanted me to do… If he is turning things around… I can do it worse," she warned.

Feza Releases New Single 'My Papa'

Tanzania’s former Big Brother Africa contestant Feza Kessy has released her much-anticipated new single, My Papa; a love song dedicated to her man.

There was a lot of excitement as Feza Kessy’s fans across Africa reacted to her new single that premiered yesterday on Yarona FM, Botswana. Eager fans from many countries utilised the live-stream option to listen to Feza’s interview as they waited to hear the song.

Her fans were not disappointed and many took to Twitter and other social media platforms to show their excitement and appreciation after listening to the new song for the very first time.

Feza was introduced to Africa last year when she participated in the eighth season of Big Brother Africa. The Tanzanian beauty gained a large fan base while in the house due to her out-spoken nature and down-to-earth personality.

While in the house, Feza fell in love with Botswana housemate Oneal and the couple was affectionately nicknamed Oneza by adoring fans. The two were admired for staying true to their real personalities despite the pressure of the Big Brother Africa game, which usually sees many participants put on phony personalities for the sake of winning the prize money.

On leaving the Big Brother Africa house, Feza made a quick trip back home and then left for Botswana to link up with her man who had been evicted before her. The two have been inseparable since then, making several trips between Botswana, South Africa and Tanzania as they support each other’s careers.

Prior to joining Big Brother Africa, Feza had just finished recording her first single, Amani Ya Moyo, which was passionately embraced by the Big Brother Africa audience when it was played at a Saturday night party in the house.

While speaking to Radio Botswana today about the inspiration for her song, Feza said, “This song is special because it came from my heart. I wrote it on a flight to Zambia. Oneal had just dropped me off at the airport and I was missing him”

She confirmed that her new song is inspired by and dedicated to her love. “In my previous song you could tell I was sad, but now I am happy, there is a man making me happy. I am in love.” the bubbly Tanzanian beauty said while speaking to Yarona FM.

“It is bongo flava, so people out there can get to hear the Tanzanian flavour, but it is also has a bit of afro beat and little bit of house,” she said.  ”And it is in mainly in English so people from all over Africa can listen to it and identify with it”

Bongo flava is a very popular genre back in her home country.

If the reaction the song received today on social media is anything to go by, My Papa is going to be a big hit. Give it a listen below..

I May Marry A Nigerian Or Ghanaian - Dillish Opens Up On Marriage

Big Brother Africa “The Chase” winenr, Dillish Matthews was in Nigeria recently for the Mr. Nigeria contest.

The Namibian beauty, who has been rumoured to be in a relationship with Nigerian singer, Flavour opened up to YNaija on the reports, how it felt to win “The Chase” and her views on marriage.

Excerpts:

How did it feel to win Big Brother Africa?

I still find it unbelievable. I mean seeing all those people who came from so many different countries during the opening ceremony, I still ask myself how I made it. People used to say I was too reserved and didn’t kiss or have sex but I guess if it’s your time, it’s your time. I’m still humbled by the fact that I won.

What do you think helped you win the competition?

I don’t think there’s any strategy because I was just being myself. I think the trick is to be yourself, if you’re wild and crazy, stay that way, if you’re not, don’t pretend to be.

What was the first thing you bought with the prize money?

I haven’t really spent my money on myself because I’ve been investing in real estate. However, I did buy myself some watches including a Rolex.

You have your own cosmetics line now, do you have any other business ventures in mind?

My cosmetics line, Vault by Dillish is an endorsement by a US company and I also have my own salon in Namibia. I also have investments in real estate. Frankly, I consider myself to be businesswoman not an entertainer.

Do you have any interests in music or acting?

I love African music. After Big Brother, my mind opened and I started listening to South African music, to D’banj and of course to Flavour so when he asked me to feature in his video, I said yes.

As for acting, I’m working on a few things and if they turn out well, I just might explore it too.

So about Flavour, there’s a rumour on the grapevine that you’re a couple, is that true?

Flavour and I are just friends. I mean he’s hot and I’m sure he thinks I’m hot but we’re just okay with being friends. Besides, he hasn’t made any moves like that and I haven’t either.

So are you expecting him to make a move?

No, I’m not. He has a girlfriend and I hear she’s a hottie.

What do you think about Nigerian men?

I think there’s a possibility that I’d either marry a Nigerian or a Ghanaian, there’s just something about them that I find attractive.

You once said that you don’t believe in marriage, do you still feel this way, and why?

I still feel this way but it’s not that I don’t believe in it, I just don’t think I would want to get married. I think I would be okay if I could just find a guy that I could date forever. This might change when I get older but for now that’s how I feel.

Have you ever had your heart broken?

Of course, I’ve had my heart broken, I’ve been friend zoned many times and I’ve been turned down before too. I didn’t take it to heart though because I think it’s just normal.

Speaking about heartbreak, there were a lot of rumours about what led to the breakup between you and your ex-boyfriend, Stephen. What really happened?

All I have to say is that not everything reported is true so don’t believe everything you read. Sometimes people make stories up so that the media can leave them alone.

You promised your fans on Twitter that you intend to start having babies this year, so when are we expecting the little ones?

As soon as I find myself a hunk, I’ll start. I’ve always wanted to have kids before 25 and I’ll be 25 next year so I’m running out of time.

After you won Big Brother, your long lost father suddenly surfaced, how did that make you feel?

As a child without a father, you look around and just wish you could be like other kids who have one. It’s an empty feeling and you just want to know him and if you look like him.

I’ve always wanted to know and I went to Big Brother and mentioned his name in the hope of finding him. When he came forward, I rejected him at first and then I saw the resemblance and opened up and accepted him. I’m taking it slowly now and getting to know him.

What do you think is the biggest challenge facing women in Africa?

I think it’s the fact that people believe we should be submissive. If you start making a lot of money as an African woman, you could get demotivated because people believe you won’t find a husband. Men don’t really like women who are rich because they believe she’ll misbehave.

You’ve been helping a lot of children, do you have a charity organization of your own?

Yes I do, it’s called the Royal Hope Foundation and it focuses on community development and I hope that it can spread across Africa.

How do you intend to do your part in making the world a better place?

The vision I have, is that of helping people. It’s such a passion for me that I can sacrifice a lot just to make a person’s life better. I’m not interested in a lavish lifestyle, I just want to help people.

Zimbabwean Big Brother Africa star, Pokello Nare shared her joy with her fans on twitter about her boyfriend Elikem Kumordzie's marriage proposal to her.

The Ghanaian "surprised" Pokello on live television during the 2014 Ghana Music Awards with a "Will You Marry Me" question while the two were on the stage to present an award for Best collaboration of the year.

Pokello who seemed confused and shocked for a moment answered "Yes" and reached out for a lovable hug when Elikem got back on his feet. The auditorium echoed with cheers of joy before the couple proceeded to present the award.

She later shared her joy with her fans via twitter: "Those who know me, will tell you I'm very shy. I never saw such a proposal coming and I went numb because of where we were, all eyes on me!"
The love story between Elikem and Pokello started during their time at the Big Brother Africa 'The Chase' reality TV show where they were housemates.

IK and Flavia on the BBA StarGame launch show.
Big Brother Africa (BBA) 2014 has been moved to September to accommodate the 2014 FIFA World Cup which kicks off in Brazil next month, on June 12.

Liz Dziva, Multichoice Zimbabwe's public relations and publicity manager, said that organisers of Africa's most popular reality show would announce audition dates in due course.

"There will be a delay in this year's season of Big Brother Africa as we do not want it to clash with the World Cup."

"The two are big events so we decided to move the show (BBA) to September. The proper date will be released later. Holding it at the same time as the World Cup will affect viewership," Dziva told ZimbabweDailyNews.

Big Brother Africa is a reality show that brings in individuals from different African countries including Angola, Botswana, Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Liberia, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia and Zimbabwe.

BBA has proved to be a fertile ground for lasting friendships. Apart from Big Brother The Chase 2013 contestants Pokello and Elikem who got engaged last weekend, several other relationships which started on the reality have blossomed beyond BBA. These include Nigerian Kevin Chuwang Pam and Tanzanian Elizabeth Gupta (Big Brother Revolution 2009) plus Namibian Meryl Shikwambane and Tanzanian Mwisho Mwampamba (Big Brother All Stars 2010).
